Amazing service and food! My fav local sushi spot. Always a good time! Special rolls are out of this world.

A warm and inviting place with outstanding service and delectable dishes. We come here often to indulge in delicious food and a wonderful ambiance. Definitely a place to visit.

I can't remember the last time I've left a restaurant and felt the urge to leave a review. The food was incredibly well seasoned and fresh & the service was equally as amazing. Everyone working there would periodically check on us while passing by and we never for a second felt like we had to wait to get anything. Ordered wine.. it was there in less than 2 minutes. No food items took more than 10 minutes to get to us .. and the place was fully booked. Shout out to Samantha! We will be back - with friends :)

The place is beautiful. Very friendly atmosphere, they have tables and booth and private room upstairs for a private party. The food was good and fresh, but the portions were quite small and pricey . Especially the duck salad had only lettuce leaves in abundance and not much duck and it was tiny. The special roll was too small as well. Usually special rolls are way more expensive and much bigger. It was not the case, yes, it was pricey but regular size.

The place is still getting its bearings, but while it is, the place looks really nice, the staff are really nice and the owner is too! The menu is similar to the other options around, but of course some variations and being new and shiny helps. I was able to try one of the lunch specials for takeout - 3 rolls with a soup or salad for 13.95 and I got the spicy kani roll, salmon roll, and salmon tempura roll. All the rolls were really good and the fish was fresh. I have to highlight that while I know kani is not real crab, you can tell a crappy brand and texture like what some of these other places have switched to, and Izakaya uses the good stuff! It was really good :) Today my husband also got me the yuzu honey salmon for takeaway. It came beautifully prepared and had a couple pieces of okra in it which was a pleasant surprise! Also comes with soup or salad and a white rice. The sauce however was a bit thin so I was just eating salmon that was kinda dry so it was just fine. Maybe in person it will be better. Either way, I will be coming back to try some more food! They are a little pricier than the other places nearby, but for now with the ambiance and beautiful interior, it's a nice new spot for a meal, a date or a party!

I had a fabulous dinner at Izakaya during their soft opening this past weekend! They have some amazing promos going on -- for their first few weeks each table gets a free chef's special app. A choice of a sushi or kitchen app. We chose sushi and got this delicious crab sweet and spicy appetizer! The other promo is buy one get one happy hour (4-7) for any drink which is awesome. The sushi itself was delicious. We tried a few regular rolls and a few specialty rolls. Everything was delish and high quality. The Hawaii roll was our favorite! Last but certainly not least -- the space is gorgeous, truly beautiful furniture/designs and the service is wonderful. Huge shoutout to AJ & Eva for creating a wonderful vibe and a new neighborhood spot
